The company was started in 2012 out of Gurgaon and got backing from renowned venture capitalists. The idea was rolled with strong marketing acumen and now the company has about 5500 plus hotels representing OYO brand across 196 cities. The concept of giving budget rooms with third party assurance has been put up in very novel way.

The idea of call taxi was not new to the world but for India, it was the revolutionary move. There were many players already in the market with the same idea and good service but still this duo Bhavish Aggarwal and Ankit Bhati decided to go cab way. They come up with Ola – The Cab Company. The company that was founded in December 2010, soon reached out to about 85 cities with 200,000 cars by November 2014. Their mantra of success was to opt for tried and tested business idea, provide distinguished service, and come up with competitive pricing. The recipe of success has worked for them and would work for most of the wantrepreneurs.

Many of us dream to get into IIT and dropping the course in IIT Bombay in the seventh semester is surely beyond imagination but co-founder Rahul Yadav did this! He was on the completion of his prestigious engineering course from IIT Bombay, but he thought of going the difficult way. He has seen many ups and downs but yet his determination for his company has paid.

Till date getting into IIT was making news but now many wantrepreneurs are making their career after leaving IIT midway. Azhar Iqubal left IIT Delhi in his seventh semester with an idea of making news available easily on mobile.
