Optimize your FB Groups – Go TRELLO

With the popularity of Facebook continuously on the rise, there is no doubt that it is definitely one of the best platforms to market your products and services. With the feature of creating groups, you can even design exclusive campaigns for niche audience. However, managing FB groups and deciding on what content to share is a time consuming task.

What you need is an automated system that would make it easier for you to manage your FB groups in a more organized manner.

This is precisely where TRELLO comes into play.

What is Trello?

Trello is a web based project management app that puts everything together at one go. Different projects are displayed in individual boards, containing lists and corresponding tasks.  Simply put, Trello is a free, flexible and a visual way to organize any business online.

Learn how to use Trello to manage your Facebook groups and engage the group members efficiently.

Prioritizing the Groups

You may have created a number of groups in FB with an aim to reach the relevant audience in the best possible manner. However, no matter how organized you are, managing all these groups at one go may not be very easy. You need to analyze which groups are best suited for your end goals and those that are not really very effective.

Based on this analysis, create a priority listing. These are the groups that you need to focus on when you go the Trello way. In case you are planning to form a new group, assign it a trial time and see how it works. There is no point wasting time and energy on FB groups which just tend to lock in your time and do not bring any returns.

Creating the Trello Board

Once you have decided on the FB groups to focus on, go ahead and create a Trello board. You would have to label each group separately on the board to make it a tad more organized. There are a number of labeling features on Trello that would help you to label the groups in the best possible manner such that there are no confusions later on.

Creating separate labels will also ensure that you don’t share the same content in a group, thus helping you to maintain originality of content.

Listing your Content

After you are done creating the labels, you need to design lists of content that you intend to share with each group. Make sure you create a separate list for every marketing campaign and promotion that you plan. It would be a good idea to enlist some of the content that you can use to welcome new groups to Trello.

There is no limit to the number of lists you can create. However, don’t forget to have a copy of these lists on your personal Trello board too. This would make it easier to track the content that you have already posted and others that you need to post.

Filling the Lists

Creating lists is easy. However, deciding on what goes into these lists can be a bit more tedious. Before you start engaging your groups on Trello, it would be a good idea to put in some content on the lists.

Don’t worry if the content sounds similar. All groups are different and you don’t have to worry about duplicity. You can even add images and videos to your lists.

Creating Sharing Cards

Once you have the content ready, you can start engaging FB groups and getting them more interested in the campaign. Start off by creating cards. Just click on “Add the Card” and you are ready to post the content on the group. Begin by assigning a title to the card and then attach the relevant content and images. Click on the “Add Card” button to share the content with the relevant group.

Initially, working on Trello may seem a bit confusing. However, with practice you would get the hang of it and would be able to handle it better. Don’t forget to add the label of a group to the card once you have shared the content on it. Remember to create labels for new groups. You may also need to carry out some monthly updates to create new cards and content listing to ensure better group engagement.

With Trello, organizing and optimizing your Facebook groups would become easier.
